The Bioprocessing Network Australia (BPN) NSW have organized a networking event in Sydney on the Tuesday 14th August, at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

We would like for formally invite you to this event.

The BPN has selected UTS as the site for the next NSW satellite event the back of UTS building a 200L GMP-lite single use biopharmaceutical facility to achieve the following high-level outcomes –

  • To train laboratory and factory technicians — science graduates and people with a non-science background — in bioprocessing techniques and their use in a GMP like environment, as part of the future workforce for the growing number of biopharma players in Australia
  • To facilitate the upscaling of UTS research into algae for producing recombinant proteins and other high-value products.
  • To offer Pilot scale facilities and Process Development capacity to the Australian biotech community

BPN NSW envisages that this satellite event will act as a forum for Bioprocessing stakeholders to understand and engage with UTS, understand their vision for the future and to further deepen the networks across this growing and evolving industry.

We plan to keep the event as informal as possible and have included a short presentation and facilities tours at UTS. Please refer to the agenda below –
